From here, you need to go to BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU). When the processor is operating below these limits and the user's workload demands additional performance, the processor frequency will dynamically increase by 133 MHz on short and regular intervals until the upper limit is met or the maximum possible upside for the number of active cores is reached. Access the BIOS configuration through the System utility screen. (if you don't have a manual, a downloadable copy should be available at MSI's WebSite). 2) MSI's WebSite will have their latest version listed under 'BIOS' for this board. Any of the following variables can effect the upper limit of Intel Turbo Boost Technology on a given workload: 1) MS-7522 is X58 Platinum (not the Platinum SLI MoBo) Correction - Both are 'Series' MS-7522 (v1.X) Mainboards. The maximum frequency of the Intel Turbo Boost Technology is dependent on the number of active processor cores, while the amount of time the processor spends in the Intel Turbo Boost Technology state depends on the workload and operating environment.
